The Whiffenpoofs performed in Monterey on October 25th. The performance was co-sponsored by the Yale Club of Monterey and was dedicated to the late Rick Manning, who was a Whiffenpoofs alum and was active in the Yale Club and in the community of Carmel Valley,

Interviewing with local Yale alumni offers the Yale applicant a way of getting to know a personal side of Yale without having to travel across the country.

Alums and current students joined together to welcome the Class of 2028 on July 13th in Carmel Valley.

The Yale Day of Service is held every year on the second Saturday in May with the goal that Yale alumni around the world will come together on or around that day to serve their local communities. Save the Date for the May 2026 Yale Day of Service.

The Yale Club of Monterey County participated for a second year in the Yale Alumni Associations' Yale Book Award program.  Each of the 24 high schools in the County was invited to designate a junior who demonstrated the qualities of a citizen-scholar.  This year, Yale Book Awards were presented at four high schools:  Trinity Christian H.S., Pacific Grove H.S., Santa Catalina H.S., and Notre Dame H.S.  The book chosen to be presented was the New Yale Book of Quotations.
